Matcha Ujiro was born from the curiosity and dedication of a woman who fell in love with Japan—its quiet rituals, its craftsmanship, and its tea. After years of learning about Japanese tea culture and traveling to Uji, she decided to create a brand that honors tradition while welcoming newcomers to the matcha ritual.
As a young entrepreneur, she partners with small growers in Uji who practice careful shading, hand-picking, and stone-grinding—the time-honored methods that protect flavor, color, and nutrients. Every tin of Matcha Ujiro reflects that promise: clean, ceremonial-grade matcha with no additives, sourced with respect and prepared with care.
